RoJupiter F is a potent, fixed-dose combination therapy primarily prescribed to manage mixed dyslipidemia. It pairs a highly effective statin with a fibric acid derivative to address multiple lipid abnormalities simultaneously when monotherapy is insufficient. Mechanism of Action This combination tackles the lipid profile from two distinct pharmacological pathways: Rosuvastatin (10 mg): A selective, competitive inhibitor of the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme. It works primarily in the liver to inhibit cholesterol synthesis. Its primary function is to drastically lower Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C) and total cholesterol. Fenofibrate (160 mg): An agonist of the Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor alpha (PPAR-\alpha). It stimulates lipolysis (the breakdown of fat) and increases the elimination of triglyceride-rich particles from the plasma. Its primary function is to significantly lower Triglycerides (TG) and increase "good" High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL-C).
